On July 9, we headed to Le Mont, a little place up in the mountain, far from everything and very far from the wide roads... Oh boy, we barely made it all the way and were constantly crossing our fingers that no cars would come the other way. Well, a mere kilometer from our final destination, a poor woman was going down the hill while our camping car was taking the entire road going up. She had the hardest time backing up to the nearest field entrance in order to let us go through. Merci madame and, sorry!
Finally, we made it and we met Catherine, Juliette and Catherine's family.
We spent two serene, quiet and very nice days at their place. We tasted plenty of specialty from the region and everything was made from scratch. Miam!
I got to feed the chicken, swim in the lac de La Thuile, play with MY Juliette and I even got to give my postcards to the nice postman who came everyday to Le Mont.
