A very sad story

I was 6 months old when I first listened to the story of Coco and the fish. I have always listened very carefully.
From the time I was 9 months old, I would sometimes become emotional when listening to it.
Even though the story makes me sad every time I listen to it, I choose this book quite often. I guess I am the kind of guy who needs to cry.

So, the plot: Coco is a cute monkey who always does fun things but often gets in trouble too. In this story, he thinks that the fish is bored in its bowl, so he decides to take it out of his water world. It takes him a while to realize that the fish is not having fun after all and, when the fish is gasping for oxygen, the music enhances the feeling of sadness.

So, see me make fish face, cringe before the sad part, see me cry and see me rejoice when the mom finally saves the day by putting the fish back in the water.

PS: I also have a few other books that make me cry; especially one called happy & sad.

Jardin

The King, me, is very happy to report that my Kingdom is getting to be worthy of its name. Two walls now surround the property and I have been told that my dungeon should be erected in the next few months.
My Daddy is the lonesome worker who is in the yard every single week-end and has been for the past 3 summers.
Here is a little slide show that goes through all the phases until this September.
Still to come: the sprinkler system for the upper level, the grass, the play structure, the third level with its patio and some replanting of bushes.

Work Days

I like to do a lot more things on my own. I have quite a very busy schedule...
See me:
- sing songs
- walk and walk and walk
- put my trash in the garbage
- swim on my own... nearly
and see Daddy try and try to do the itsy-bitsy spider... Gypsy l'araignée.
