December 2016... Santa and the Snow

Yeah! December came again and it was time to get super Uber ( my new word of the moment) excited about lists for Santa. Sure I already have way enough ( too much) stuff, but there always seems to be something new to be excited about!

And yes, I still don't like to write so calling the guy was the best thing to do. Not sure he had a pen and paper handy but I had quite a list.

It was hard to concentrate on school and the 4 snow days did not help... at all. Shoveling the snow, making cookies and building snowmen, that I could concentrate on!

The snow melted long enough for a little visit from Tina and Lily! And I got my first gift! YEAH! I love that Lego set!

And then, Tada! The big eve day came and it was back to appetizer with Mamie who made it from France to spend the Holidays with us.

And FINALLY, it was the day to see if I had been the recipient of Santa's generosity! The huge pile under the tree was quite promising...

And here is my 2016 loot thanks to Santa, Mamie, GrandPa & Grandma and Papa & Maman.
THE Wii!

Mastermind: thanks Grandpa, Grandma!

Rush hour: Thanks Mamie.

Snow shoes: Thanks Papa!

A few of my English books

A few of my French books: Thanks Maman!

French magazines: Thanks Mamie!

Lego motor: Thanks Grandpa. Grandma!

I am VERY HAPPY!

Septembre-Octobre- Novembre 2016

Ok... it looks like updating the blog has not been happening in, like, forever.
So a little travel back in time is on the menu...

First day of school: not sure I look that excited 3 months later but I still like 4th grade. And look at the amazing double rainbow. Cool!

And of course, back to school also means camping with Papa during the week-end. We escaped to Crater Lake and I had my daily does of roasted marshmallows!

Then came October. We always have a week off then and it was a good time to invite my friend Juliette to help with pumpkin carving. A little trip to do some bouldering, a visit to Tina and Lily, making crêpes, a bike ride with the Ps and it was already the last day: time to put the finish touches on my Halloween costume.

Maman loved the fact that Halloween was on the first day back after the break. Ok, I am being a little sarcastic here: you must admit that our kids' brain are not into work mode that day so yeah, not that fun for teachers. I came back from the traditional Trick or Treat expedition with way too much candy. Wait, who wrote "too much"? But I was a good sport and decided to share my loot with the Ps.

November, november...
Another bouldering trip, this time with my friend L. And even Maman got in the mood.

Then came Thanksgiving. Papa headed to AZ but we still prepared our own little feast for 2! We had enough for the next 3 days!
