August....Août...

Ça sent la fin...
The break is close to an end. Sure it was 2 months but it always feel too short when you are having fun right?

We headed to Montana for a little family reunion. Grandpa was on the mend so we all took it easy. I had fun with my cousin though.
See, the cool thing when you have a cousin who has unlimited screen time is that you can look over her shoulder and get more screen time!

We had fun sleeping in Uncle Dan's camper too!

Although we also took time to play games together and Papa took us to a fire lookout to spend the night: between picking huckleberries, moving stones around and getting settled in the bunk beds, we had lots of screen free fun too.

And if you think that our Dad's are enjoying the view... nope. Just trying to get a signal for their phone!

Hard to see on the picture, but the clouds in the sky suddenly turned into the shape and color of cotton candy!

We also explored around Grandpa and Grandma's land and played in the stream, with Papa showing us out to make stone skip over water.

On our last day we did a little hike along the Rattle Snake River. Let's say that my cousin and I like to complain a lot when we walk but we had a good time jumping on rocks, suddenly finding all the energy we had lost just a moment ago on the walk!

It was already time for our last dinner and it was a beautiful evening. Grandma had prepared yummy salmon burgers and salads!

When we came back, A & R whom we had dropped off to begin their Pacific Crest Trail experience were back and spent the rest of their stay enjoying the town.

We went with them on a very hot day so that they could put their feet in the Pacific Ocean for the first time. I had fun too!
